I started kiting about 7 years ago when Owain and I bought a 4m PKD Buster which proceeded to try and kill us both, we very quickly bought a 2m and after getting the hang of the basics we became hooked.
I have a Libre buggy which Owain uses for racing and we use when we are both teaching but when Im using it I just like to cruise. I dont do tricks and I dont do speed, just my 4m Samurai MK1 or my 2m PKD Brooza and 4 miles of Gott bay on Tiree and Im happy.
I don't like busy beaches, if its too busy I'd rather get the camera out and snap the action rather than weave in and out of pedestrians. My favourite kites are detailed above but in general anything yellow will do.
My main jobs in TK are sales, marketing and making tea.
