Lovely clean and cosy cottage. Fantastic views out to Jura.
Big picture window you could sit at all day and watch the ever changing beautiful scenery.
Easy walk to the island shop, post office, pier and Colonsay Hotel.
Old fashioned glass fronted stove in the living room that heated the radiators making the whole place cosy.
New kitchen, in fact the washing machine and fridge freezer arrived on the boat with us!
Good area to sit outside and nice garden with plenty of parking.
Tomcat loved the palm trees in the garden and climbed them a few times.
I would highly recommend this cottage, it is kept beautifully clean and Rhona and Les the caretakers were very helpful.
£200 for the week seemed reasonable for the time of year but electricity is extra as is coal for the fire.
Equipped to a high standard although there was no TV when we were there as the sky dish wasn’t working, perhaps take a cd player or radio with you if you need back ground noise :)
