Getting Back Into Buggying After A Long Break 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I'm thinking about getting back out in my buggy at some point over this summer. Its been a long time since I was a regular at the beach. Its probably been something like four years. What I'm wondering is, how easy will it be to get the "feel" of it all again? Should it all come back to me fairly quickly, or will I need to build up slowly; maybe with a session of static flying to start off with?

Great to hear Helen, I reckon you should just go out with a kite you feel comfortable with and see how it goes, static fly it for a wee bit and then if you feel ready to sit in the buggy then just go for it. O.

Hi Helen, I had a break of about 2 years after my accident. To be honest it took about 5 minutes to get back into the swing of things in the buggy. It's like riding a bike ...... I don't think you'd ever forget how to do it. Best of luck! Steve

Thanks. I did wonder if it was a bit like riding a bike. I just need to get some insurance sorted out and then find where I've put the kites.
