What part of Scotland is not effected by the dreaded midge?

It's the first year I have expearianced them on Tiree, being inland more and small tree/bushes around the camping area is the ideal place for them, it did not help yesterday when Wullie cut the grass in the other camping feild.

Make sure you bring a long hookup, mine is 20 meters and just reaches where we are set up. if you are on the hard core with your van you will be OK.

PS, sat in the tent connected to the wifi now while this bad weather passes.

Jock, if possible would be good to get in same area. Is there space for a VW Transporter + awning. Got a 10m + 25m so should be ok But just drove to shops and forgot I was charging batteries. Trying to repair my 240v socket now ...
