Irish Sea Crossing 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Hi Guys. There's a team of us (nikiteforum.com) planning to kitesurf from Northern Ireland to Scotland prob around Portpatrick(ish) next autumn for charity.
It would be good to get some local knowledge about what beach we would be best to arrive in Bonny Scotland. We would like to have a few routes planned for different winds.
Also nearer the time it would be good to drum up a bit of media support at your side, has anyone got any contacts which may be useful?

Our website is in early days, I'll post it up when it is on the net.
The crossing is being planned properly and will be as safe as it can be.

If anyone would like to get involved or find out more, let me know.

Thanks Will
Will D

Hi Will,
Welcome to the TK Forum.

We do have quite a few media contacts and also some contacts with Visit Scotland so will have a word with them and see what we can do.

There are quite a few kitesurfers who fly over on the west coast so hopefully they will be able to give you some more information.

Keep us posted with your progress.
